Upcoming Shows

With Jared back from Spain, we've been hard at work on two new songs, "Your Kind of Year" and another yet to be named. "Your Kind of Year" is a song inspired musically by some country music I've been secretly listening to, and lyrically by experiences a few of my friends have recently been having with money, dating and, well, money. I really love the sounds Nat has been getting on the guitar for this song - stuff I could never come up with on my own. It's just plain tasty, and you'll have to hear it to see what I mean. Well, that's it for now. Hope to see you at a show.

Here's a little something from Cover Your Hearts, 2010...

Looking to polish up a couple things tonight in preparation for the Tonic Lounge show this Friday. Can't wait to play with Just Lions again, and Katie Carlene for the first time. We're going to pull out a new arrangement to a new song...we'll call it version 1.1. Last week having Bryan Free there was an absolute blast - except the part where I helped him take his enormous organ down the stairs (grow up, you know what I meant). He's a true artist, always taking on new challenges with music. And his latest challenge is to become an organ player. For those who have played piano and/or organ, you know there is a totally different approach to playing either instrument. I think it's great that he's able to come out and rock with us. If you come out, you may see the birth of a great new organist.
